Vision for Community Venues Remains Unchanged
 Buddy Dyer, Mayor<br /> City of Orlando In a letter to the community, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer maintained his commitment to the construction of the Community Venues, while exploring cost-reduction measures including timing, project schedules, site configuration and other opportunities in response to current economic downturn. “These public works projects will position Orlando and Orange County for future, quality growth, provide thousands of jobs and infuse millions of dollars into our community,” he said.

In response to reports about possible project delays, Kathy Ramsberger, President of the Dr. P. Champs Sports Bowl has Banner Year
Steve Hogan, Executive Director of Florida Citrus Sports and a member of the 2009 Board of Governors for the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, has announced another Banner Bowl Game Year for Central Florida. The 2008 Champs Sports Bowl and the 2009 Capital One Bowl were the highest-ranked of all non-Bowl Championship Series games in television ratings this year, according to ESPN.
