There is no "right" time! As busy as we are, it can be challenging to find the time to participate in Leadership Orlando. Our experience has shown
that there is no time like the present to make a commitment to the future – personally and professionally. Act quickly; you'll be glad you did.
Setting aside one day a month to explore the Central Florida Region and to build relationships with classmates and faculty, may seem difficult. But for
those who do, the experience is well worth it and, in fact, following graduation, they miss the camaraderie and the wealth of knowledge gained each month
about our region and the present and future assets that reflect our competitive advantage and quality of life.
Just listen to what members of Class 84 are saying:
-
LEGOLAND was an interesting experience, the merging of old Florida and new theme parks. I found the genesis of the theme park interesting, the
business model for it, and the challenges of maintaining a customer base.
-
The opportunity to network between sessions was very beneficial. I like how all of the sessions are different, but so insightful.
-
The Public Policy Session was particularly fun, relevant and insightful, given the election year.
-
The B.I.G. Summit was the most insightful session so far. I really enjoyed everything about this day.
And from graduates of Class 83:
-
Class 83 has been more than I expected. What a terrific group of people and information.
-
Overall, I would give a ranking of 9 out of 10 for the leadership class experience and new relationships I have gained as a result of the class.
-
Excellent use of my time! I have connected with several folks outside of LO, so it does work.
-
Behind the scene tours are the best - getting to ask questions of those who have the most knowledge about the places we visit.
And from Class 82:
-
This has been the very best program I have been involved in. The price seemed a little steep at first, but looking it back it was worth every
dollar. I established relationships (personal and professional) with all market sectors. I have spoken about Leadership Orlando to everyone I meet
and have encouraged each of them to participate.
-
Best professional development experience I've had in my 4 years here in Orlando. And one of my best overall.
